DELETING SUBMISSIONS FROM FRONT-END FASTGEM (RECOMMENDED): 

If you need to delete a submission, it is highly recommended you do so from front-end FastGem. Note: only users with Delete permissions or Payroll Admin permissions will be able to delete from front-end in this way. 

From your list view, you can click on the 'trash can' icon on the far right side of your screen to delete a record: 

 

From within the record, when you are in 'View Only' mode, you can click 'Delete Item' to delete a record (note that this will delete associated records such as work orders and invoices tied to this submission): 

 

 

PERMENENTLY DELETING FROM THE ADMIN PORTAL (NOT RECOMMENDED):

  1. Login to Backend FastGem (ADMIN portal) . The Admin portal can be accessed by adding '/a' to the end of your instance address.
  2. Click on 'Submissions' (This may be called 'Persons' instead, depending on the age of the instance).
  3. Click the square to the left of the name whose submission you want to completely delete from FastGem system. Then, click on 'Delete.' (NOTE: Only do this if you want to delete the complete history of this particular submission. It is highly recommended to click 'Unpublish' rather than 'Delete' on this page. This will remove the submission record from your instance but the record will be recoverable in the future.) 

 

DELETING MULTIPLE SUBMISSIONS AT ONCE:

If you would like to delete multiple submissions at once, choose how many items you would like to appear on the screen at once by selecting a number from the dropdown on the right side of the screen (We recommend that you do NOT set this to 'All'. Instead, 200 is recommended). 

 

Once multiple customers appear on the page, click the topmost checkbox to select all, or select which customers you wish to delete individually by checking the checkbox beside their name. Once you've selected the customers you wish to delete, click on Delete at the top of your page. THIS WILL PERMENENTLY DELETE THESE CUSTOMER RECORDS!
