FastGem takes customer privacy and security very seriously. We strive to ensure peace-of-mind regarding customer data. 

Only users with specific permissions are allowed to view customer records, and only those with the "Can View Sensitive Info" permissions are allowed to view such information as SSNs, DOBs, etc. (Every time sensitive data is viewed, it is logged in the Action Logs of that record). 

To configure user permissions regarding the viewing of sensitive information, login to the Admin portal of your FastGem instance, select "Users" >"Manage," and click on a user name to enter their profile.

Then, choose the "Assigned User Groups" tab, and scroll down until you find the permission "Can View Sensitive Data." Check the box (or uncheck it, if you are taking away permissions). 

Click Save and Close.
