  • Accessing Form Management (edit order forms)

    1. Login to ADMIN FastGem
    2. Click on the diamond icon in the top left hand corner of the page. 
    3. Click on the 'Form Management' option at the very top of the list. 
  • Editing Individual Rep Commissions

    *You must have 'Edit Comps' Permission in FastGem to access the features involved in this training video. Please reach out to your FastGem's admin to further inquire. 

  • Editing Submission Data Content

    1. Login to FastGem (Front End) 
    2. Click on the 'Submissions' tab. 
    3. Find the customer name whose data you need to edit. (Jane Doe used as an example)Click on it. 
    4. Find the 'Edit button'. Click it. Change whatever submission information you need to change, and then, click on Save.' 
    5. Click the 'back' button to return to the main Submissions page. 


  • Form Management: Definition of Form Properties Margin Labels

    YOU MUST BE AN INTERNAL USER WITH ADMIN AND FORM MANAGEMENT PERMISSIONS ENABLED TO ACCESS THIS FEATURE! 

     

    1. Form Layout-Shows the broken down code of the form's makeup. 
    2. CSS and Javascript- Special coding for the makeup of forms.
    3. Form INFO- Name of the form, form credentials

    6. User e-mails-  Set up and specify notification e-mails to send to FastGem users
    7. ADMIN e-mails- Set up and specify notification e-mails to send to FastGem ADMIN users.

  • Form Management: Definition of standard Form Fields

    1. Textbox- One line text only field
    2. Text Area- Multiple line text area field (Notes section, etc) 
    3. Dropdown- A field that can be labeled with dropdown options for customer to choose from.
    4. Checkbox Group-A field that can be labeled with multiple checkbox selections for customer to choose from
    5. Radio Group- A field that can be labeled with selections for customer to choose from by clicking into the correct bubble/circle
    6. Submit Button-  Adds a button for the customer to submit the form into FastGem
    7. Password- Adds a password field on the order form 
    8. File Upload- Inserts a field for customer to upload a file from their computer into the order form. 
    9. Free Text- Allows you to insert any type of text that will be visible to the customer on the order form.
    10. Calendar- Inserts a calendar option into your order form.
    11. Date/Time Picker- Gives customer the option to pick a date/time for whatever caption/reason you choose.
    12. Button-Inserts a new button field for any reason you may need it for.
    13. Captcha/Antispam- Inserts a security feature that keeps your order form from being spammed which requires customer to pass a captcha to prove they're not a bot. 
    14. Hidden Field- Fields that exist, but are not visible to the person filling out the order form, but are necessary to make up the order form.
    15. Support Ticket- Inserts a Unique ID 
    16. Pagebreak- Adds a break in the page so you can make a new section for the form.
    17. Birthday Field-Inserts a date of birth option for the customer to fill out on the form.
    18. Google Map - Inserts a GoogleMap into the form for customer to utilize for whatever reason you specify.
    19. Range Slider-Inserts a range scale from 0-100 for whatever reason you specify for the customer to select from.
    20. Signature Field- Inserts a field for the customer to drag out their signature to submit with their order form.
    21. Recaptcha v2- Another CAPTCHA option to insert into your form
    22. Single Product- Gives the single price option for you to insert on the form
    23. Multiple Products- Allows customer to choose from multiple payment methods
    24. Donation- Inserts a field on your order form that gives customer to add a donation
    25. Discount- Inserts a field to include a price discount
    26. Total- Shows the total amount due on order form
    27. Choose Payment-  Lists payment methods
    28. Payment(Paypal)-  Inserts option to pay via PAYPAL

  • Form Management: How Conditional Fields Works

    Conditional Fields help an option appear on your order form under special conditions. (I.E. If you click 'Here', 'This' will pop up) As a example, we are using DirecTV TV packages, and setting them to show up ONLY when the DirecTv services are chosen on the order form. Once you've added the options and fields you want. Follow the steps below. 

     

    1. Login in to Backend FastGem (ADMIN). Click on 'Form Management'
    2. Click on the order for you want to edit and add the conditions to (As an example, we used Service Order Form) 
    3. Click on 'Form Properties'. Then, Click on 'Conditional Fields'.
    4. Click on the blue,  'New Condition' icon towards the top of your screen.
    5. in the dropdown field labeled 'Intro', select the name of the field you want to show under the condition you're creating. 
    6. Click on the blue 'Plus sign' icon. 
    7. Change the dropdown boxes to exactly what you want the condition to match. (In this case, we want the customer to see DirectV tv packages only when they select 'DirecTV' under the Which Services portion of the form.)
    8. Click the green 'Save&Close' button once you are done creating new conditions. 
    9. Click 'Save&Close' to finish up on the Form page. 
  • Form Management: Renaming Order Form

    1. Login to Backend FastGem (ADMIN). Click on 'Form Management' 
    2. Click on the Form that you want to change the name of. 
    3. Click on 'Form Properties' 
    4. Click on 'Form Info.' 
    5. In the 'Basic' fields section, look for the fields labeled 'Form Title' and 'Form Name'. Type in the name of your order form as you want it to appear to the customer in each of those fields. 
    6. Click 'Save & Close' once you're done editing. 
  • Form Management: Repositioning fields/markers

    1. From ADMIN FastGem Home screen, click on 'Form Management. 
    2. Click on the order form you are wanting to edit. (As an example, we've used the standard 'Service Order Form' )
    3. Click and drag the field to the correct placement as you want it to appear to the customer. 
    4. Use the Preview button to preview the order form from the customer's perspective. 
    5. Click 'Save&Close' when you are finished. 
  • How To Hide Select People/Work Order Status from a Selected User Group

    YOU MUST BE AN INTERNAL USER WITH MANAGE USER PERMISSIONS TO ACCESS THIS FEATURE

     

    THIS FEATURE ALLOWS YOU TO SELECT WHICH STATUSES A USER WITH EDIT PERMISSIONS HAS AS A SELECTIVE OPTION WHEN EDITING SUBMISSIONS/APPOINTMENTS. YOU CAN HIDE CERTAIN STATUSES FROM THEM WHILE EDITING BY COMPLETING THE FOLLOWING STEPS: 

    1. Login to ADMIN FastGem. 
    2. Click on 'Config.' 
    3. Click on 'Content Types.' 
    4. Click on 'Click Here to Edit' next to 'Submission Status' or 'Appointment Status' 
    5. Scroll to the status you want to hide and view the field in the  'HIDE from These Groups' column. Select the User Group in which you want to disable access to during editing. 
    6. Click the blue 'Done' button. Then, Click the green 'Save' button to finish.  
  • How to: Set up Auto Text to Rep or Tech When a Specific Status is Selected

    YOU MUST BE AN INTERNAL USER WITH ADMIN PERMISSION ENABLED TO ACCESS THIS FEATURE!

    1. Login to Back End (ADMIN) FastGem.
    2. Click on 'Config.' 
    3. Click on 'Content Types.' 
    4. Scroll to and click  on the 'Click Here to Edit' icon by ''Appointment Status'
    5. Scroll to the status you'd like for the rep/technician to receive a text notification for. Click into the 'Auto Text Rep'/'Auto Text Tech' field. Type in the exact text you would like the rep/tech to receive when this status is set in 'Appointments.'
       
    6. Click 'Done'.
    7. Click 'Save.'
      All done! 

     

  • MENU EDITING: TROUBLESHOOT: Form isn't Displaying as an Option on FastGem Menu

    YOU MUST BE AN INTERNAL USER WITH ADMIN PERMISSIONS TO ACCESS THIS FEATURE!

    1. Login to ADMIN. 
    2. At the top of the screen, click on 'Menus' Then, click on 'All Menu Items'. 
    3. Scroll through the different options until you see 'FORMS' and then, underneath, should be the name of the specific form you are missing. (As an example, we are using the 'Service Order Form'. 
    4. Click into the checkbox to the left of 'Service Order Form' or whichever form you are needing to put into front end. 
    5. Click the 'PUBLISH' icon at the top of the screen. All done!
  • MENUS: Adding a menu item to Front end

    **YOU MUST BE FASTGEM SUPPORT TO ACCESS THIS FEATURE! 

     

    1. Login to ADMIN FastGem. 
    2. Click on 'Menu', then click on 'All Menu Items.' in the toolbar at the very top of your screen. 
    3. Click on the check box selection to the left of the item that you want to be added to your front end menu selection. Then, Click on 'Publish'. A green 'Checkmark' should appear to confirm it's been published. 
  • MENUS: Hiding unused Menu Items

    YOU MUST BE AN INTERNAL USER WITH ADMIN PERMISSION TO ACCESS THIS FEATURE! 

     

    Login to back end FastGem (ADMIN). 

    In the horizontal tool bar across the top of the screen, click on 'Menus' & then, click on 'All Menu Items'.
